Finally its March!! I am so tired of winter and cold weather....This Semester has gone pretty good, been very slow!! We finally got the house finished so I'll post some pics up soon! We've been having fun hanging out together and with friends so its been good. Daniel is looking for a job, who knew it was so frustrating to wait for people to get back to you about stuff like that lol... Emie is getting super big and is so funny, we love hanging out with her every minute we get. Here are some pics of her over this year. See ya later!

Wow this semester has gone by so fast!! I became the SNG Cheer Coordinator and we were super busy this year with the brand new elite class. Our first pep rally was today and I am so PROUD of those girls, they did amazing and I just can't express how happy I am feeling!!!Daniel is also starting the Police academy here in Lubbock on January 4th and we are both happy about that, Daniel is prolly more excited than anyone else lol. The good thing about him joining is he isnt alone. There are several on the police force that he knows and they are giving him support along with a good friend that is also starting the academy with daniel so they can be study buddies lol. Well its pretty late so i guess i should head to bed, got a busy day tomorrow with another pep rally!! Whoo Hoo!!

This week pretty much sucked...

It all started Sunday night around 10:30 p.m., just after our community group ended. We had a huge plumbing problem, daniel was in the backyard at the trap for about 45 min plungin away it was horrible and now our backyard sticks!! Then he goes to take a shower in our master bath and we noticed that we have a big water spot by the wall and floor. so we take off the board at the bottom and realize that our shower has been leaking this whole year and have water damage inside and bugs everywhere...who knows what else... then (oh theres more lol) last night my dad had to go the emergency room bc of a drug reaction he had that caused his blood pressure to spike up to 170 causing him to be dizzy and sluggish (we thought he might have had a stroke) it was pretty scary. well they finally got home around 3 and my mom calls e this morning around 8 bc our cat Yogi (had since i ws 7) is really sick and not doing good at all so we rush him to the vet and end up havig to put him down and of course he fought it which made it way worse...I kno that it was better in the long run but it doesnt make it hurt less. also i kind of have a feeling that i may be getting sick...i hope its more allergies than anything but who knows. cherry on top of the cake...

No School!

Well school started a couple of weeks ago but luckily I didn't have to go lol it was great! Our Cooper cheerleading classes are starting this week and so far they have been great, we have so many fun girls signed up and I am so excied to teach them this semester! Next week we will begin all the Frenship cheer classes and it will get busy!! The summer ended pretty good, all our pep rallies were a blast and now I am getting into the role of cheer director. It's busy but a blast I have been doing office work like crazy during the days and then all the teaching in the late afternoons. hopefully soon we will be slowing down and I will have a more consistent schedule lol that would be nice!... Just a little over a month til our one year anniversary, have no idea what I am going to get for Daniel...I am so excited though it went so fast and I am ready to go back to the cabin we stayed in during our honeymoon but this time we don't have to worry about homework YAY! oh and by the way Daniel is doing great with LPD the detective has been doing research on his background and calling all of us to find out more about him. So exciting, we should be finding out in the next months or two if he will be in the academy or not. well I better go before church starts and also before you get tired of reading. See ya later!!

Man! This summer has been crazy. It's amazing how fast time goes by when your having fun! Well, it's pretty much the same. work, work, work, and daniel has homework lol. I am on my 4th week of training for my 5k and daniel has been doing great in reducing his time on his mile run. This weekend i get to take a vacation with the girls and I am so ready!! I need some relaxation and fun time but, poor daniel has to stay behind. He says he is going to work on house but i bet he will go golfing lol! and we found out that my dad has to have colon surgery (that could change) he is a little nervous but anybody would be. he has to be in the hospital for several days, yuck! well sry I have been boring lately but I should go and get dinner started! ttyl

Well it has been a great summer so far!! Work is always good!. Daniel and I have been doing alot of housework and landscaping. we pulled out hedges and put in a flower bed, we trimmed our tree in the front. (I'll post pics soon when it looks a little better). we found out that some friends of ours our moving back to Lubbock and we are super excited for them and to be able to be close once again. daniel has beenplaying some church league office and their team is doing pretty good its exciting i love thursdays!! lol i get to hang out with people and I get fridays off so its really good! lol sry its been a little boring lately just the same old stuff so yeah ill keep you posted on fun times! ttyl

Summer

Well Summer is off to a great start! I have been very busy working and getting the cheerleading classes set up and ready. Daniel is working and doing some summer classes so he is pretty busy with homework lol (not me!) we had a garage sale this past weekend and we actually sold a lot of our things amazingly so we went and used the money to buy some flower bed stuff so we can add some curb appeal to our house lol. We really haven't been doing much lately just staying busy and having fun with friends and family. Daniel has been playing softball on Thursday nights and they have been doing really good, they won their last game 34 to 11!!! It is a lot of fun watching all those guys play softball! well I really don't have any new things to talk about so I guess I'll write later. Bye

A fun... Adventure

So Friday night we decided to take Nala for a walk and then watch a movie. so we started off down the block on a new path never been before. We walk around the corner and Nala and this other dog start barking and fighting through the fence (like all dogs do pretty much. when we get to the back we find out that the other dog is a pit bull and there is a huge hole in the fence so they charge at each other and the pit bull grabs hold of nalas snout and she is trying to get him back. The pit bull is locked on to her nose, daniel was trying to pull her back and I was trying to get the pit bull to let go (I don't even remember what i was doing lol it was so frantic) finally the owner comes over and grabs the pit and we were able to get nala back. we had to take her to the emergency vet. she seems fine , she didnt need stitches or anything just some antibiotics. we are so lucky she is such a big dog and that there was a fence between them. we were both so afraid that he was going to tear her apart (I really really dislike pits...) she held her own, she even tried to go back lol but we were pretty worried for a second. so there is our adventure. Never ever want to do that again!!! lol

My Life after Graduating

Wow it has been so crazy this month. I graduated May 2nd and we just got back from a week long vacation from Florida with the Wisdom's. It was so fun!! Monday we got to see the Shuttle take off from Kennedy Space Station and it was amazing! You watch it take off then after it disapears who hear it take off. We were about 13 miles away and had an awesome view. Traffic was crazy that day not only did it take us an hour to make it down the street to a McDonalds but then we got stuck on the highway trying to get back to our condo. There was a huge wreck involving 3 SUVs, one person was taken away by helicopter and later on as we passed one was still being worked on. we sat on the highway strip for about two hours, everyone's cars were off and people were walking down the sides of the roads it was crazy. We were also able to go to the Tampa Zoo and the Florida Aquarium they were both very neat and Emie had a blast looking at all the animals, she wanted to take them home lol. The last 2 days we just hung out at different beaches and got nice little tans. Daniel and I got a good buurn lol! We got back on Saturday and already my days are packed with work. I mention in an earlier note that i had a new work position coming up and now it is official. I and the Director for the Cheerleading Program and still the lead instructor, I am also the Office Administrator and Part Director for the Stretch-n-Grow program (kind of like an assistant to my boss basically). I am very excited, I am now full time and on salary which is a blessing for us!! We are having so much fun, Daniel might say a little different since he just started a new semester of class and is right now trying to get all his homework done with out a book...lol but we are both excited about this new opportunity and can't wait to see what happens. well thats about it for now so see ya!!

Graduation!!

YAY!!! Today was my last day of classes forever!!I have a final on sat, mon, and then tue and I am done. A week after graduation we get to go to florida with the dawsons and wisdoms and its going to be a blast!! Its been a pretty fun week. I was offered a job not too long ago that daniel and i were debating and it turns out that a few days after that job offer became way better!! I am still waiting for it to become official before i say anything just incase. we also found out that our friends baby is getting to come home on friday! they are super excited and very scared. Kason is now weighing 4 lbs and 13 ounces and he has grown another 2 inches. keep praying for his continued health! thats about all for now ill be back in a few days with more news!

Well I am almost done with school!!! just 19 more days til graduation I am so very very excited!!! These next two weeks I have projects like crazy and will be working nonstop...I celebrated my 22nd birthday last week too and it was so fun! we had a family get together and ate some really good cookie cake. I also got some realy great gifts! We got a new screen door for the front and also a new steel door (old one was janky)we got the screen door from my parents and the steel door we bought ourselves. Daniel's parents bought us a patio set and I am so excited to be able to use it soon!! we are still working on the backyard but it should be looking good soon I hope. We found out the other day that a couple of houses on our block are going up for sale and they are a couple of years old and going for a good price. If they sell we are a little tempted to finish ours up faster and put it on the market for a good profit, YAY for moving lol. still waiting to see though. easter weekend was good, we were supposed to have some good thunderstorms but of course there wasn't, it rained of course but i was hoping for a BIG storm I LOVE those. Daniel and I got to babysit our niece the other night and thatwas alot of fun for me. she is so good and lots of fun I am so excited to be able to spend a week with her on vacation. I can't wait for our vacation it will be so fun it will be the first family vacation in several years, Daniel and I are married now and his sister and brother-in-law now have a baby its gonna be great!! well I better stop for now, I've been going on for awhile now and don't want to bore anybody. YAY for spring break!! we have been doing so much this week. we built a dog run for nala, i have been painting (again...), cleaning house, working on the laundry room and lots of yard work. I am so excited to be doing all of this but i wish we had more time. I also have to write a 10-25 page paper by tuesday of next week ugh... a little stressing but oh well. well thats about it for today ttyl!!

I am so excited about spring break! this week feels so long and i am super super tired. Hopefully the weather will be nice next week so that Daniel and I can do all the yard work we are planning. Daniel is thinking about cutting the tree down in our front yard (its a mulberry...) and i want to prepare a couple of places for a garden. we also want to build a dog run for Nala and tear some shrubs and trees that are way overgrown. Today the weather is cloudy and cold, like 40 degrees and it is suposed to snow/rain at the end of this week....fun fun fun...

This past weekend there was a bad accident and everyone involved was killed. One of them was a young boy that went to willowbend and in my cheerleading class yesterday i found out that one of the girls was best friends with him. It was a hard practice for everyone because we were so sad about it. If you are reading this please pray for all of the kids who knew the families that were involved in the accident. well thats it for now.

We found out a couple of days ago that some friends of ours had to go to the emergency room. The couple was expecting their first baby ( a boy) in May but her electrolyte levels were way off and her blood pressure was too high that the Doctors decided to perform a c-section. Their son was born March 9 (i think around 5:30 p.m.) his name is Kason Maddox and he is only 3.4 lbs and 16 inches. The doctor believes that he will be fine in the long run but i know that they are very scared at having to deliver so early and not fully prepared yet for being parents. Kason will be in NICU for an extended period so please pray for his health and development and to give strength and comfort to his parents and family. Thanks to all!!

ok well get this. as soon as i log off daniel brings in the mail and what do you know..there is a letter from tech about O.T. school.... sadly I didnt make it i am kind of bummed but i figured it would happen since my physics grade was lower than it should have been. but oh well i have been given a couple of offers for the future that me and daniel are still looking at and talking about so as soon as we figure that out ill let you know! well thats it see ya later!!

it is saturday once again! and man my week was busy but fast! Wednesday night we had our frenship cheerleading performance up at LCU from 5-9 and of course me and my bad luck i strained a muscle in my shoulder and have a touch of bicep tendonitus... thursday was pretty busy with sng classes and of course that made my shoulder hurt even worse lol. so now i am resting up for a little while but tonight i have another cheer performance for our cooper schools and this is my favorite event all year long and of course i can't enjoy it..im crowd control tonight bummer... next week is spring break and i am so ready!!! we are planing on taking a weekend trip with daniels parents to albequerque and then working on the house the rest of the week. thats all my news so far. i should be finding out about O.T. school soon so ill keep yall posted!!

Well it is saturday and im procrastinating once again. lol Oh well! I just finished joining another group at LIVESTRONG.com and i really like it so far! Daniel joined also and so far it is helping us stay with in our calorie range and informs on calories burned through out the day. I love it!! My Night Alone

It's Thursday night and Daniel is out of town for business. So i've been painting our master bath, yeah!... now im taking a break and watching one of my favorite shows: Criminal Minds. Since this is my first blog it will probably be short. This week has been eventful for me. Went to the doctor for the 3rd time, still trying to get better and I hope it works. Daniel's 24th bday is coming up soon and thats exciting so we have been make plans with family. Our house is almost done!! I am finishing up the bathroom and then we will have the laundry room left to do but thats mostly daniel and his dad's work. if you want to look at before and after shots of our remodeling just look it up on facebook. its super exciting, we made some big changes! well thats all I have for now.
